Phase retrieval in infinite dimensions

By Ingrid Daubechies

Also appears in collections : Coherent states and their applications: a contemporary panorama / Etats cohérents et leurs applications : un panorama contemporain, Distinguished women in mathematics

Retrieving an arbitrary signal from the magnitudes of its inner products with the elements of a frame is not possible in infinite dimensions. Under certain conditions, signals can be retrieved satisfactorily however.
