La « sphère » de Poincaré est un espace à trois dimensions qui n'est pas une hypersphère (ou sphère de dimension 3) mais qui partage avec celle-ci beaucoup de propriétés « topologiques ». C'est un objet fascinant. Certains physiciens pensent même qu'elle prêterait sa forme à l'univers. . . J'essaierai de vous en dévoiler quelques mystères. Cela sera aussi l'occasion de parler de la célèbre conjecture de Poincaré démontrée en 2003 par Perelman. Il y aura beaucoup d'images et de films de Jos Leys.
