Physical Layer Security with No Eavesdropper Channel State Information : A secure Degrees of Freedom Perspective
While information-theoretic physical-layer security is a powerful technique that guarantees unconditional security, early work in this field developed secrecy capacity and secure degrees of freedom results based on perfect knowledge of the channel state of the adversary. Eavesdropping adversaries are passive, and it is hard or impossible to attain information about their channel state. In this talk, we will summarize recent results on optimal signaling schemes when no channel state information is available about the adversary’s channel.
