Monoidal categorification from alternating snake modules, q-characters and determinantal formulae

We discuss a family of modules for quantum affine sl_N which generalize the snake (or ladder) modules introduced by Mukhin--Young,. We shall see that these modules live in a monoidal tensor category generalizing a category introduced by Hernandez--Leclerc. We give a closed form for their q-characters and identify the dominant monomials in these modules. Finally, we also give an explicit expression of their character as an alternating sum of Weyl (standard) modules. The talk is based on joint work with Matheus Brito.
