It has been more than 25 years ago that the previous thematic program on symplectic topology took place at Institut Henri Poincaré. Since then, the field has undergone a spectacular transformation earning itself a central position in the mathematical landscape. It interacts strongly with other fields such as dynamical systems, low dimensional topology, homotopical algebra, and algebraic geometry.
This trimester is organized from April 19th to July 16th, 2021 by Vincent Colin (Université de Nantes), Vincent Humilière (École polytechnique), Patrick Massot (Université Paris-Saclay), Klaus Niederkrüger (Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1), Alexandru Oancea (Sorbonne Université) and Anne Vaugon (Université Paris-Saclay).
Il y a plus de 25 ans, le précédent programme thématique sur la topologie symplectique a eu lieu à l'Institut Henri Poincaré. Depuis, le domaine a subi une transformation spectaculaire et a acquis une position centrale dans le paysage mathématique. Il interagit fortement avec d'autres domaines tels que les systèmes dynamiques, la topologie de basse dimension, l'algèbre homotopique et la géométrie algébrique.
