The dynamics of systems coupled to propagating fields in non-Gaussian states

This talk will give an overview of techniques developed in recent years for deriving dynamical equations describing the the evolution of systems coupled to propagating fields that are in non-Gaussian states of interest in applications such as single photon, cat, and multiphoton states, including their stochastic dynamics under continuous observation. These equations form the basis for measurement-based quantum feedback control in this scenario. I will also discuss an open research problem in this area.
