On attempts and progresses towards proving the de Sitter no hair theorem using mean curvature flow

I will review how mean curvature flow is providing progress towards proving the so-called de Sitter no-hair theorem, concerning the onset of a de Sitter phase of the universe out of inhomogenous initial conditions. This is relevant for the initial condition of Inflation in our universe.
