Motivated by the study of scattering diagrams in the plane, we consider quiver representations with one or several filtrations whose subquotients are semistable of increasing phase (with respect to some chosen stability function). Unlike Harder–Narasimhan filtrations, where phases are instead decreasing, and which are consequently unique, there are typically many different such increasing-phase filtrations of a given object. I will discuss some basic properties as well as a conjectural relation to deformations of scattering diagrams. All this is based on upcoming joint work with Ludmil Katzarkov, Maxim Kontsevich, and Pranav Pandit.
