Feedback stabilization of open quantum systems

By Nina Amini

Appears in collection : Quantum control and feedback: foundations and applications

In this talk, we study design of different measurement-based feedbacks stabilizing open quantum systems using mainly stochastic Lyapunov techniques. In particular, we design a measurement-based feedback which stabilizes exponentially an eigenstate of the measurement operator for spin-1/2 quantum system under continuous-time measurements. Finally, we discuss some possible generalizations to this work.
