Boundary rigidity for hyperbolic groups

I will motivate and explain recent joint work with Jason Manning and Teddy Weisman that shows that the action of a hyperbolic group on its boundary is stable in the sense of topological dynamics, meaning that any sufficiently small perturbation of the action is semi-conjugate to the original action.
