Around the fine curve graph of the torus

By Frédéric Le Roux

Appears in collection : 2024 - T2 - WS1 - Low Dimensional Actions

Recent work by Bowden, Hansel, Militon, Man, and Webb (generalised by Guihéneuf and Militon) suggests the possibility of a rich dictionary between the fine graph and the dynamical properties of torus homeomorphisms, especially the famous rotation set. In this direction, we show a connection between the rotation set and the limit points at infinity.

Joint work with Sebastian Hensel.
