I will start with an introduction and motivation for algebraic supergroups from tensor categories perspective. No previous knowledge of the subject is required. Then I 'll try to illustrate amazing analogy between representation theory of supergroups and groups in positive characteristic discussing analogues of support varieties, defect, Green correspondence and grassmannians.
