This conference aims at bringing together complex and algebraic geometers from all around the world, to share recent advances pertaining to families of Kähler varieties. It will be discussed in particular of questions related to families of varieties with non-positive curvature: the study of families of hyperkähler or Calabi-Yau manifolds, of problems of degenerations of these families, or of questions revolving around the Iitaka conjecture and plurigenera… A dozen research talks by reknown experts will take place during the conference.

Beside these talks, two mini-courses are scheduled : • Sándor Kovács (U. of Washington) : Projectivity of moduli spaces of stable varieties and Iitaka conjecture. • Claire Voisin (CNRS & Sorbonne Université) : Classification of hyperkähler fourfolds and SYZ conjecture.

One or two sessions of short talks will also be organized: more precise details concerning the selection of these talks will follow shortly.

The event will be largely open to international researchers working in algebraic and complex geometry: the period of preregistration will be open until 14 Feb 2025. Accommodation and meals at CIRM will be covered for all accepted participants, who will still have to find their own funding for their travel expenses. We will still be able to finance a limited number of travels; young researchers in particular are invited to apply.
