Compact composition operators on spaces of Dirichlet series

I aim to give an overview of the current research frontier on compact composition operators on Hardy spaces and other Hilbert spaces of Dirichlet series. I will discuss both the case of characteristic zero and the case of positive characteristic, where a full description of the compact operators still eludes us.
