Virasoro TQFT provides a powerful framework for computing amplitudes in quantum three-dimensional gravity. Conformal Turaev–Viro theory offers a closely related, triangulation-based formulation of the same underlying structure. We develop a BCFT perspective on both theories and give an alternative derivation of the relation between them.
