The aim of this study was to quantify the impact of selections and shared selections in the rugby union. The XV de France’s collective effectiveness relies on a balance between stability and workforce renewal, which allows the building of specific position interactions and builds on experimented forwards packs. We show that selections and shared selections are serious collective performance parameters associated with performance.

Around the Mathematical Week "Mathematics and movement", half a day is dedicated to mathematical issues related to movements in sports. It will take place on Tuesday, March 13th from 9am to 12pm at Institut Henri Poincaré, Paris. This event will bring together researchers and industries to discuss the challenges of tomorrow.
